Carriage House Renovation

• Services Provided: Complete internal renovation, replaced structural framing, roof, windows, clean and repoint stone, new mechanicals, new electric, new high-end kitchen.

Old Saratoga Restorations completely rebuilt this carriage house from the inside. The interior was stripped from top to bottom, reframed, and the second floor rebuilt. Original slate roof tiles were replaced with lighter shingles to reduce load. All original flooring was salvaged for other projects. Details included replacement of all windows, new copper detailing, two new dormer windows, a new high-end kitchen, restoration of curved soffits, custom staircase, cleaning and repointing of stone, and custom raised hardwood paneling. Custom oak doors, newell posts, and railings were built by our in-house carpenter and Southern Yellow pine floor boards came from Dutchess County Flooring.
