National Trust for Historic Preservation

The National Trust for Historic Preservation, a privately funded nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., works to save America’s historic places. With 750,000 members and supporters and a staff of 300 employees in D.C. and at historic sites in 15 states, the Trust has become the organization its founders envisioned: the vigorous leader of an expansive movement that is changing the face of America.

Historic Albany Foundation

Historic Albany Foundation preserves and protects buildings that have architectural, historic or civic value, by providing technical assistance, education and advocacy.

Preservation League of New York

The Preservation League of New York State invests in people and projects that champion the essential role of preservation in community revitalization, sustainable economic growth and the protection of our historic buildings and landscapes.

SHPO

New York’s State Historic Preservation Office helps communities identify, evaluate, preserve and revitalize their historic, archeological and cultural resources. The SHPO administers programs authorized by both the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and the New York State Historic Preservation Act of 1980.
